This is a tape recording in tribute to Donald Banks, including past interviews with him and interludes of his music. He talks on: his youth as a young musician during the depression, his study at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, his training with Matyas Seiber London and Luigi Dallapicolla, Italy. He also speaks on: his pieces of music, the influences on his composition, the people he worked with, his interest in electronics and jazz and the future of Australian Music.
