Sydney 25.8.34 & 18.10.38" .

- Library's Whelan copy signed in ink by the author 14.11.27 with an unpublished poem inscribed --"Sing though the song be a cry/ Better the song than to sigh ..."; also inscribed, "Dear "Tom". The above is an unpublished gem written especially for me, & presented to me with this book by the authoress, a week prior to the date on which I introduced you to her at Rod Quinn's Banjo Concert Sydney"; inscribed in pencil inside the front cover: "Philip S. Wehlan Conservation Bay Cosme"; pencil notes and underlinings on pages 23-24, 60, 63, 72 and 79; clipping dated March 12, 1929 from The Australian Woman's Mirror (page 15) with poem "Clouds" by Molly Howden [Mary Truby King] loosely inserted between pages 58-9.
