Watson, a choreographer, speaks about his family background and early life including dance lessons. He discusses the Dance Company of New South Wales, Sydney Dance Company, Queensland Contemporary Dance Theatre and the International Choreographic Course in 1983. He talks about his trip to America in 1971, doing cabaret at Marrickville RSL; arts funding and his choreography, including choregraphing for television commericals, fashion parades and the Nederlands Dance Theatre Junior Company. He talks about his influences including Jaap Flier and Kai Tai Chan and the influence of literature and Bali upon his work. He also talks about the representation of women in his work and his recent works 'Sex life of Objects' and 'World Cafe.'
