Correspondence re the Times agency in Australia (no papers for 1937-53); Australasia and Times News Service, 1912-56. Correspondence and publishing agreements. 2). Personal papers of: John T. Delane, 1849-74; Lt. Col. Charles Repington, 1911; Henry Wickham Steed, 1921; Hugh A. McClure Smith, 1932-38; Geoffrey Dawson, 1941; and Sir William Haley, 1964. The personal papers relate to convict transportation, Australian investments, foreign correspondents in New Zealand and Australia; British policy in the Pacific, 1921; Australian foreign policy and other matters.
