Barker, orphan and British child migrant, speaks of his being sent to the orphanage at Nazareth House, his early years and education, involvement with the Church, the discipline within the Home, how he was sent to Australia in 1947, and cared for by the Christian Bros. organisation at Bindoon, W.A., his description of the working and living conditions and the discipline demanded whilst building the premises at Bindoon, his escape and consequent life on the street and in the Army, his search for his mother, other aspects of his varied life.
