- Comprises the text of a manuscript version or copy of a pamphlet printed by Andrew Bent and published anonymously in 1819. The manuscript, in the hand of Governor Sorell's clerk, Thomas Wells, survived in his family. It is contemporaneous with Bent's 1819 printing and shows some minor variations from it. This 1926 printing, made when no copies of Bent's pamphlet were known to be available in Australia, attributes the authorship of 'Michael Howe' without question to Wells. However Andrew Bent states on page 93 of his 1829 Tasmanian Almanack that he (Bent) compiled, printed and published the pamphlet.
- Limited edition of 100 copies.
