- Ms. sketch map showing family camps in unknown region of Western Australia but possibly the Wadjari tribal area on the upper Murchison River. Relief shown by hachures.
- Title supplied from the finding aid to the Papers of Daisy Bates.
- Black ink on butter paper mounted on linen.
- Map published and interpreted in an essay titled "Collaborations" by Peter Sutton, published in Mapping our world : Terra Incognita to Australia / National Library of Australia. "Here we see a range of hills penetrated by a series of lines that are probably creeks. The rough reality of geography has here been replaced by symmetry, formality and neatness. The range is shown as dead straight, and the creeks (possibly story-lines) almost so. This schematic approach to depicting a landscape is also a feature of much of Aboriginal religious art."
