- Text begins: "Among other things misrepresented in a sheet of paper lately published, intituled one Essay on the Equivalent: the sume of 398085£ 10sh. allowed to this natione as the consideratione for the proportiones the present incomes of customes & excise in Scotland, may contribute towards the appropriated branches, of those of England, is pretended to be refounded to England, or rather to Brittain, in about 3 years after the Union."
