Based on the photograph Tasmanian Aboriginals, Oyster Cove (496B) taken in the 1850s by J.W. Beattie. The text refers to Big Brother, the Channel Ten TV show in which a group of young people lived in a house for a 3 month period. All their activities and conversations were filmed and highlights were broadcast. Each week viewers were able to vote off their least popular contestant until, on 16 June 2001, the last remaining person won the prize money.
