- Biography/History:

Gormly (1836-192?) arrived in Sydney from Ireland in 1840. His family settled near Gundagai in 1844 and he lived a bush life, working cattle and gold prospecting. He settled in Wagga in 1854 and carried mail for P.M.G. Had also some personal interests. Was Mayor of Wagga and was a member of State Parliament (N.S.W.) for twenty years.
