Twenty five typescript drafts of published works for children and teenagers. Also a small amount of correspondence between Klein and Max Dann, who jointly wrote the Lonely hearts club. Typescripts of two adaptations of Klein's novels are also included.

Children's writer. Began writing full time in 1981. Klein was awarded the Dromkeen Medal in 1991. Her books include People might hear you, Hating Alison Ashley, Penny Pollard's diary, and Boris and Borsch.
