- Summary:
-
The Beeliar Conservation & Heritage Council was formed in 2000 to protect the bushland and wetlands of the Beeliar Regional Park (which is situated on the Swan Coastal Plain within the boundaries of the Cities of Melville, Canning, Cockburn and Rockingham and the Town of Kwinana). The proposed Stage 8 of Roe Freeway has caused community concern as to its adverse effects on the area's wetlands. This newsletter seeks to keep the community aware of the issues and developments of this concern as well as promotes what the various parks can offer.
