- Biography/History:

Journalist and author. Horsfield has worked as a journalist in Australia and overseas, including London where she met political journalist Paul Lyneham, whom she married. Her published novels include Dream run (1992) and Venom (2005). The division of love: stories (1995), an anthology of short stories about life in Canberra, received an ACT Bicentennial Award. She has also published Paul Lyneham: a memoir (2002). Horsfield has worked as a reviewer and poet as well and she has been published in newspapers and literary magazines. She was a member of Seven Writers, a Canberra-based writers' collective, between 1980 and 1998. In 2003 she became an adviser to the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) Australia.
