The Acc05.146 instalment consists of the manuscript score "Great lady waltz", written by Williamson as a tribute to his grandmother on her birthday, 9 October, 1942, and believed to be Williamson's earliest composition (1 folder).
The Acc07.146 instalment includes correspondence, press cuttings, photographs and programmes (5 boxes).

Pianist, organist and composer. Malcolm Benjamin Graham Christopher Williamson was born in Sydney in 1931 and attended the Sydney Conservatorium where he studied piano and French horn, and composition under Sir Eugene Goosens. In 1944 he graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree and, from 1950 lived in London where he continued his compositional education. Williamson's compositions include symphonies, piano concertos, orchestral works, operas, ballets, choral works, chamber music and music for solo piano. In 1975 he was appointed Master of the Queen's Music, the first non-Briton to occupy the position, and in 1976 he became a Commander in the Order of the British Empire (CBE). In 1987 he was made an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for service to music and to the mentally handicapped. The University of Melbourne conferred an Honorary Doctorate of Music upon him in 1982. Williamson died in Cambridge in 2003.
