- Entered by Evans under the publishers, Thomas and John Fleet, who are named in the 1789, 1791, and 1794-96 issues as editors of the Register.
- The eclipse predictions in the almanac are practically identical, except for omitting the central paragraph, with those in Nathanael Low's An astronomical diary or almanack for 1780, also published by Fleet. In the calendar pages, the calculations are partly identical and in part vary slightly, and the notes correspond to a significant degree. Low is probably the calculator.
- Advertised in the Boston gazette, Nov. 1, 1779. The advertisement does not indicate the inclusion of the registers.
