- Summary:
-
"Bulls Head staging area at 1800 hrs 16:01:2003. Surface water is scarce in a drought - even more so in remote mountainous areas where it may take a fire-fighting vehicle one or two hours to do a watering trip. Here an ACT Forests tanker working the Bendora fire is refilling from a bulk water carrier at Bulls Head with water brought up from Top Flats on the Cotter River, a round trip of 19 kilometres"--Note from the photographer.
