- See PIC FH/3036 and cover. "The temple of Amen-Ra was dedicated to the God of Thebes and was the most important in the Kingdom. It suffered much damage through earthquakes. The Hypostyle Hall covers an area of 50,000 square feet and is therefore the largest hall of any temple in the world. The roof now non-existent was supported by 134 columns placed in 16 rows. The two centre rows with Lotus flower Capitals-the others had Papyrus flower capitals.".
