In a by-election for the NSW seat of Lindsay occasioned by the Court of Disputed Returns having voided the original win by Liberal Jackie Kelly on the grounds that (a) she had not renounced her New Zealand citizenship, and (b) she was still employed in the RAAF, contrary to constitutional requirements, Kelly wins with an increased majority.
