- Map of the Queen Charlotte's Islands (i.e. Solomon Islands] featuring what is now referred to as the Santa Cruz Islands dominated by Lord Egmont's Island or New Guernsey [i.e. Nendö Island], Lord Howe's Island or New Jersey [i.e. also part of Nendö Island] ; to the east, Lord Edgcombe's Island or New Sark [i.e. Utupua] and Ourrys Island or New Alderney [i.e. Vanikoro Islands]; to the north-east Swallow Island [i.e. Swallow Islands]. The map includes a volcanic island to the north [i.e. Nupani] as well as a large inset of Carteret's Island and the names of numerous capes including Byron, Barrington, Proby, Trevanion, and Boscawen. The map features the sea-track of the Swallow commanded by Captain Carteret in 1767. Relief is shown by hachures and shading.
