George Blundell is honoured as one of the original 21 pioneers of Canberra presented to the Duke and Duchess of York (later King George VI) on their visit to Australia in 1927 to open the first session of Federal Parliament. For most of his life, Blundell farmed within a mile of where the present Federal Parliament stands."--Notes on verso.
