- Notes:
-
- Previous issues were entitled An astronomical diary or almanack.
- Advertised in the Independent chronicle, Boston, Oct. 29, 1812, which states: "The public may rest assured that it is still calculated by Nathaniel Low."
- Low's preface, p. [2], begins: "... I am presenting you with the fiftieth impression of my Almanack." Nathanael Low the younger here seems to pretend to be Nathanael Low the elder, his father, whose first almanac was for 1762, and who died in September 1808 after presumably completing the issue for 1809. At the foot of the page in the American Antiquarian Society's copy is a manuscript note: "Low has been dead many years."
- The preface indicates that Low is responsible for the entire content of the almanac.
- Title vignette (zodiac).
- Last page includes a bookseller's advertisement by the publisher.
- Microform version available in the Readex Early American Imprints series.
