Folkloric recording. Alan Kyle talks about his early life at Nulla Nulla (The Nulla) and of his father the traditional fiddle player Billy Kyle; buying a guitar and being one of the first in the area to grasp the 'new' genre of Hillbilly music in the 1920's and 30's. He provides an insight into the traditions and culture of 'The Nulla'. He also talks about his friend Slim Dusty and father Dave Kirkpatrick.
