Terms of reference: (1) To provide to the Commonwealth Government jointly through the Environment Minister and the Chair of the Commonwealth Oceans Policy Interdepartmental Committee on: the views of a broad range of relevant non-government stakeholders on the development of the Oceans Policy; and any other issue that the advisory group considers relevant to the development of the Oceans Policy; and (2) Members should promote awareness of the oceans Policy amongst non-government stakeholders by providing such stakeholders with relevant information and seeking feedback to the extent practical.
