Alan Pomeroy talks about his childhood; his parents work in New Guinea; Burns Philp; his education and university life; the Sydney 'Push' and folk scene; Tom O'Flynn; Declan Affley; his future wife Judy; his involvement in Opera singing, his voice training; religion; sailing to Townsville over a 3 year period; working at the James Cook University of North Queensland; their children; their involvement in the Townsville folk scene, venues of the folk clubs; Musical Comedy and Theatre; Country Music, Charters Towers Festival; singing together and running Festivals, Palm Creek Festival; Neerum Creek Festival; retiring from University; working with Judith and Kathy (1996); National Folk Festival; Judith working as a teacher at Townsville Grammar School for 19 years; teaching music in Primary Schools. Kathy Pomeroy speaks about her early singing involvement, school plays and choir; her education and University studies, 'Bachelor of Theatre'; overseas trips and singing at Folk festivals in England; her Education degree, mixing teaching with singing engagements. Alan explains his philosophy on performing; their present work, touring and style of singing.
