Between 1405-1433, the emperor of China's Ming Dynasty sent seven large maritime expeditions to establish new trade routes and relations with other countries. At the helm of the fleets was a man who proved to be a great navigator and a charismatic diplomat, Zheng He. He led his fleets and their crew past incredibles challenges on the high seas and peacefully forged the way towards a new age of prosperous trade over the oceans.
