- This photograph was taken on the day Lord De L'Isle left office. He is seen here walking towards his aircraft prior to the flight to Sydney. He is accompanied by the Prime Minister, Dame Pattie Menzies and by his naval aide-de-camp Lieutenant K.A. Doolan RAN.
