Folkloric recording. Eva Boney is a Koori woman from Brewarrina, N.S.W. She was 'apprenticed out' on a western district farm and separated from her family. Eva talks about this separation and its impact on her; drugs and other issues within the Brewarrina community and the attempts to rectify the problems; her church activities and singing in a group known as the Bre Sisters.
Dianne Hardy is an Indigenous woman and life long resident of Brewarrina, N.S.W. She has had an interest in Gospel music and through her church pursued this genre. She is also interested in social conditions for the Indigenous people of Brewarrina. Dianne talks about her spiituality and the path that led her to the church.
