Robinson speaks of his childhood in Ireland, coming to Australia, working on a homestead at age fourteen, becoming a member of the Kirsova Ballet Company and collecting Aboriginal myths. Robinson reads excerpts from his book "Legend and Dreaming" and lists the various books he has published. He discusses his book of verse "Grendel" and poetry as an oral art.
