MS Acc11.030 comprises a scrapbook of news cuttings and theatre ephemera. Inside the front cover is written "To Miss Eliza J. Chambers". The cuttings include comical stories, poetry and reviews of plays largely written by Charles Haddon Chambers and produced by Bland Holt (1 v.).
The Acc11.065 instalment comprises photographs, postcards, correspondence, family papers, biographical material, news cuttings, theatre ephemera and drawings. The photographs are largely family portraits, a number of which are of Charles Haddon Chambers (1 packet).

The Chambers family included Charles Haddon Spurgeon Chambers (1860-1921), an Australia-born playwright, who lived in England from 1882 and whose plays were produced in the West End of London and in New York.
