This literature review, part of the Project BORN FREE training series for teachers, counselors, administrators, and parents, examines the relationship between sex-role socialization and career socialization. The materials focus on psychological variables affecting career options, occupational opportunities and career information processing, educational opportunities and sex-role stereotyping, and interventions designed to reduce sex stereotyping.
