"Wild Australia" exhibition at the Festival of Empire in 1911, twelve events described in the programme. The opener was the running in of "60 Wild Bush Horses", with further events such as Miss Cleopatra's Snake and Crocodile Charming, and Billy Waite's Boomerang and Spear Throwing. The finale was a one-act play entitled "The Kelly Gang. The Last of the Bushrangers", which reenacted the Battle of Glen Rowan of 1880, an "exciting incident in the life of Ned Kelly".
