Colour lithographic poster advertising the publication, 2009 Collection of Australian Stamps, which includes each of the gummed stamp issues and miniature sheets released throughout the year, together with the background story for each issue. The main poster image, in black and white, is of a PMG postal officer delivering a letter to a suburban house. Superimposed on this is a colour image of two pages from the book, showing an article about Inventive Australia, with an image of a girl playing on a Hills Hoist washing line in a backyard. Adjacent to this is an image of the Australian stamp sheetlet of the Norfolk Island Green Parrot (Cyanoramphus cookii) from the Species at Risk stamp issue, which is exclusive to this 2009 edition.
