- The exhibition is made up of contributions from over 200 writers and others. They include new and unpublished works, specially-written poems, letters, extracts from music scores and illustrations for various works. Blackman intended selling the manuscripts at auction to support Chiron College, an innovative senior secondary school in Sydney, but decided that because of its quality and uniqueness it should not be split up. It was bought by two Jack & Eleanor Bendat and Kerry & Denise Stokes, and loaned by them to the Arts Council of Australia for display.
