- "B. Tooke" may be either Benjamin Tooke, d. 1716, or his son Benjamin Tooke, d. 1723, both of whom were active at this time.
- NLA copy: Provenance. Originally owned by the Vyner family of Eathorpe in Warwickshire. Mr Thomas Vyner (1653-1708), head of the family in the late 17th- 18th century, included a passage in his will which stated that his library was not be sold, but pass to his descendants with the estate, demonstrating the value he placed on his book collection.
- NLA copy: Includes an inscription by Thomas Vyner's grandson Robert Thomas Vyner (1804-1879) who inherited the estate in 1856.
