MS Acc13.085 comprises a notebook with Peter Porter's signature on the inside of the cover, containing handwritten drafts with extensive revisions of poems, verse plays, notes on Donne etc. The notebook includes: Mirandola: an opera, from Act II onwards, 26 pages, in verse; Celebratory ode Covent Garden Theatre, 1732-1982, with an anti-ode, 5 pages; The diary of a poem, 14 pages, prose and verse; The literary world (a collection of Clerihews) For Gavin Ewart on his 65th birthday, 4 pages; Donne programme, prose notes (possibly related to his edition of Donne); The calm that follows behind the storm, poem, 3 pages; Notes on Hardy, prose, 3 pages; Orpheus for Burgon, 25 pages (1 folder).
