An artist's book presented as a photo documentary of the indigenous peoples of Papua New Guinea. It shows a range of people from the different regions and ethnic groups of Papua New Guinea in improvised studio portraits, mostly in front of a white (or less frequently black) bed sheet. This work was undertaken with the support of the 2010 Robert Gardner Fellowship of Photography from the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology at Harvard University.
