-
The Flying Fruit Fly Circus was established in 1979 during the International Year of the Child by the Murray River Performing Arts Group in Albury - Wodonga. Taking its name from the fruit fly block between the border of Victoria and New South Wales, the aim was to involve local children in "something joyful, useful and rewarding". Today the Flying Fruit Fly Circus is one of the world's premier youth performing arts companies, showcasing the skills and talents of children and young people from the local community and its immediate surrounds. The current Flying Fruit Fly Circus School is Australia's only full time circus training school for school-aged children.
