Millie Bruce, born 1954, Quairading, W.A. Bruce speaks about her early childhood at Allawha Reserve, W.A. Economic factors separated the family after her father died, with the children staying with different members of the extended family. Bruce was eventually placed at Sister Kate's Children's Home, Perth. She describes the living conditions in the Home. She also discusses the ongoing effects of childhood removal and her alienation from both cultures.
