Hilda Spong (born 14 May 1875 in London, died 16 May 1955 in Ridgefield, Connecticut USA), was an acclaimed English actress of stage and screen, appearing in Australia, Europe, and America. She came with her family from England to Melbourne on the Austral in February 1888, a few months before her thirteenth birthday. During her time in Australia she appeared for many well known Australian companies including Brough and Boucicault, and J.C. Williamson Limited, although she is best remembered for her career in the United Kingdom and on Broadway in the United States.
