World War I recruiting poster. Political map of Europe, positioned within the outline of a map of Australia, occupies the centre; both maps are drawn to the same scale by A.C. Macdonald, Desr. F.R.G.S. and held within a blue border. The title appears in red in the upper third, with the text in the lower third, also in red. All set against a white background and held within a red border. "Jas. E. Wilby, DESR.' appears lower left. "By authority Albert J. Mullett Government printer, Melbourne." appears lower right.

- National Library of Australia's copies previously folded, show vertical and horizontal fold marks. Tears and loss on the edges. Loss on right top corner [POSTER 2023-737], loss on left top corner [POSTER 2023-738].
- The map of Europe shown was out of date by when it was used on this World War I poster. It shows East Rumelia and Bulgaria still as separate countries, indicating that the map dates from between 1878 and 1885, when East Rumelia was annexed by Bulgaria.
