The ship in the centre is identified as the Duyfken, later commanded by Willem Janszoon to chart the west coast of Australia's Cape Yorke Peninsula in 1606. Inset map in lower left corner's oriented to the south, depicting South East Asia from Goa to the Moluccas and the Philippines. Relief shown pictorially.
