- "U429/63. Picture of Queen Victoria still hangs in the Soldier's Memorial Hall, Drouin, and looks down on a dance of last century, the circular waltz. Dances are half old style --Lancers, Alberts, barn dances, Jolly Millers, polkas and others -- and half 'modern' -- foxtrot, one step and a slow waltz. Few can jitterbug and anyway there's never enough room for it. Admission to dances is 2/- on ordinary nights; 4/- for balls, including supper..." --Printed on label.
