A path movement game based on the Boer War. Players begin at no. 1 'Quick march' and move down the path on the way to becoming the Commander of Chief at no. 96, and end at no. 100. 'Called to Arms' takes players along a perilous route through battles and adventures during the Boer War. The board featuring the illustrations of the barracks, prisoners of war, hospital, soldiers pulling a cannon uphill, and a mounted troop, with one Australian Bushman, riding uphill towards a city.
