MS 10378 comprises a list of 18 male convicts (boys) discharged from the hulk Bellerophon at Sheerness in Kent, originally bound for New South Wales in 1824. The boys were transported on the ship Lady East and arrived in Hobart Town on 9 April 1825. For each of the 18 boys, whose ages range from 16 to 18, Bellerophon's Commander, Samuel Owen supplies the name, age, offence, place of conviction, occupation, and remarks about the conduct of the boys under his supervision, and a gaoler's report on previous behaviour: John Bird (18); Thomas Gibson (17); Charles Goulding (180; Robert Bainbridge (17); Charles Lewis (16); Goodman Solomon (17); William Tobin (17); William Martin (17); William Bumbie (16); Ephraim Digby (18); Archibald Bensurilla (17); John Oram (17); John Foster (16); Edward Wise (17); Robert Grout (16); James Walker (16); Francis Hemming (17). and Edward Burton (16).
