"Kester Brown developed an interest in painting in 1960 and since then it has become a lifelong hobby and passion. ... He worked at the Royal Childrens Hospital in Melbourne for 39 years where he was Director of the Anaesthesia for 26 years. During his time over 500 anaesthetists trained there including a hundred from 40 countries around the world. He was heavily involved in teaching both locally and overseas and travelled extensively. He carried his paints where he went ad many of his quick water colours are included in this book. Most of his bigger and more detailed paintings were created at home. ... This book contains nearly 300 of his paintings from all over the world."--Back cover.
