- That a return be prepared and laid on the Table of the Senate showing as to the clerical and professional branches of the Public Service
- (1) The number of persons in the Public Service of the Commonwealth who at present declared to be exempt from the provisions of the Public Service Act.
- (2) The number of those who have been so exempt for a longer period than six months.
- (3) The number of those who have been exempted for a number of periods aggregating more than six months.
- (4) The names, and the State in which they are employed, of those set out in paragraphs (2) and (3), and the periods which they have been exempt.
- (5) The reasons for such exemption.
