- William Cooper & Nephews was a British firm which expanded internationally from the 1880s. Cooper's Dip was extensively used in Australia. The contents include detailed information about the need to dip sheep - the pests and conditions that it remedies - with illustrated instructions about the equipment needed. Eight different breeds of sheep are illustrated - especially noting the value of Merinos - "at the recent sales in Melbourne" a Merino ram "realised no less than 860 guineas."
