- [Melbourne?] : [Osboldstone & Co. Pty. Ltd.?], [1918?]
- 8 unnumbered pages : colour illustration, map ; approximately 6 x 10.5 cm
- Summary:
-
A small booklet die-cut to the shape of a fluttering flag with the Red Ensign depicted on the colour-printed front wrappers. 'Greetings' is printed below the Star of Federation, and the title is revealed through a cut-out window in the shape of Australia. A tricolour ribbon is set into the cover (although the booklet is actually staple- rather than ribbon-bound). A map of France and Belgium showing famous battlefields of the Australian forces is printed on the inside rear wrapper and "Copyright registered" appears on the otherwise blank rear wrapper. The minimal text content (8 pages, excluding the wrappers) comprises some statistics, a timeline of the war (2 pages), and a list of Australian VC winners (5 pages). Four lines of verse appear on the map: 'Australia's Sons on this field have won / Fame that will never die: / Right is might, and so they fight / That their flag in the breeze may fly.'
- Notes:
-
