- Summary:
-
In 2015, the State Library of Queensland commissioned researchers at the Digital Media Research Centre at Queensland University of Technology to explore the community impact of libraries as creative spaces. Eight criteria were identified relating to creative spaces and activities in libraries including civic engagement, cultural participation and educational attainment. Four case studies are included to showcase creative library activities in Queensland and how the impact framework can be used to article and measure the value of these activities against the eight criteria. The Creative Spaces Impact Framework, a User Guide and comprehensive case studies are all available in this full report.
