- Summary:
-
"Coffin bears lay down the coffin of Robert Salway. Hundreds of mourners, most of the town of Cobargo, attended the funeral for Robert and his son Patrick Salway at the Cobargo cemetery. The father and son died protecting their property from a bush fire on New Year's Eve. The Cobargo cemetery was covered in a fresh layer of smoke after fires again loomed on the edge of this already devastated town a day earlier. The funeral was delayed to allow people stuck at road blocks time to arrive. Cobargo Cemetery, Cobargo, NSW, Friday 24th January, 2020"--Information supplied by photographer.
